Job Description:

Position Title Cloud Engineering & Implementation Role The Cloud Engineering & Implementation role is responsible for designing, implementing, securing and operating enterprise cloud platforms. The role focuses on cloud infrastructure delivery, automation, security controls, governance and optimization while supporting application and infrastructure teams in adopting cloud-native and hybrid solutions. Reporting to R1- EVP- IT, Infra Core, Cloud & CITSO Key Responsibilities Technical Responsibilities • Design, implement and manage cloud infrastructure on Azure / AWS / GCP (as applicable) • Build and maintain cloud landing zones, networking (VPC/VNet), connectivity and hybrid integrations • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform / Bicep / CloudFormation • Support cloud migrations (rehost, replatform, refactor) for applications and infrastructure • Build and manage container platforms (AKS/EKS/GKE) and PaaS services • Enable CI/CD pipelines and automation for infrastructure and platform services • Ensure high availability, scalability, performance and reliability of cloud platforms • Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure and platform-related issues Security & Compliance • Implement cloud security controls aligned with enterprise security standards and regulatory requirements • Manage IAM, role-based access, secrets, encryption and key management • Enforce network security controls including firewalls, WAF, private endpoints and segmentation • Support vulnerability management, security monitoring and incident response • Ensure compliance with internal IT policies, risk guidelines and audit requirements • Work closely with Information Security and Risk teams during audits and assessments Cloud Governance & Optimization • Define and enforce cloud governance policies, standards and best practices • Implement cost optimization (FinOps) practices including tagging, budgets and cost controls • Monitor and optimize cloud performance, utilization and spend • Establish operational dashboards, monitoring and alerting • Drive standardization through reusable templates, blueprints and reference architectures Internal Managerial & Operational Responsibilities • Coordinate with application, infrastructure and vendor teams for cloud delivery • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers (if applicable) • Manage cloud operations, incident handling and change management processes • Support vendor management and service delivery governance • Participate in capacity planning, roadmap definition and technology evaluations • Ensure documentation, SOPs and operational runbooks are maintained Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) • Cloud platform availability and stability • Percentage of infrastructure deployed via IaC • Compliance with security and governance standards • Cloud cost optimization and budget adherence • Migration success rate and timelines • Incident resolution time (MTTR) • Adoption of standardized cloud architectures Qualifications & Skills • Strong hands-on experience with Azure / AWS / GCP cloud platforms • Expertise in cloud networking, security and identity management • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / Bicep / CloudFormation) • Experience with containers, Kubernetes and DevOps practices • Good understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure and hybrid environments • Strong troubleshooting, analytical and documentation skills • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Key Interactions • IT Development Team • IT Infra Teams • Head – IT Infrastructure • Application, Infrastructure & Vendors Team Leaders within IT • Risk Department • Information Security Team Experience • 6–10 years of overall IT experience • Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering and implementation • Experience in enterprise-scale or regulated environments preferred Education Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent • Cloud certifications (GCP/AWS/Azure) – preferred Location CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai
