QA Manual Testing

Job Description:

Core Responsibilities: 

1. Integrating with the business and development team to provide efficient manual and automated testing throughout the entire software product lifecycle. 

2. Accept, analyse and understand the requirements, prepare the test plan, test cases and track the execution efficiently. 

3. Identify and prioritize test conditions addressing product risks and features to be tested;

4. Identify necessary test data to support test conditions and test cases.

5. Analyse actual results against the expected ones.

6. Participate in the technical review process contributing behavioural viewpoint.

7. Reporting defects and providing progress reports-status during the testing cycle.

8. Work collaboratively with different teams, business analysts, designers, developers, architects and testers to develop and automate integration and regression tests. 

9. Ability to set up/managing QA environments, debugging problems and ensuring builds are kept to highquality standards.

10. Setting up of suitable automation framework, writing and developing the test scripts.   

11. In addition to automation, perform manual exploratory system and regression testing in all environments, across multiple products and operating systems during different releases for different stake holders. 

12. Working towards increasing the scope of the automation suite by analysing bug data, and writing neat, optimized test code

1. Test case, test tracking tools

2. Database testing - Working with queries to validate the scenarios.

3. API testing – Postman, SOAPUI
