Senior Test Engineer

Job Description:

Core Responsibilities:
1. Meeting with the software/product designers to determine quality assurance parameters.
2. Integrating with the business and development team to provide efficient manual and automated testing
throughout the entire software product lifecycle.
3. Accept, analyse and understand the requirements, prepare the test plan, test cases and track the
execution efficiently.
4. Leading the QA team in designing QA test procedures.
5. Overseeing the drafting of testing documents.
6. Implementing testing procedures and overseeing the QA process.
7. Troubleshooting quality issues and modifying test procedures.
8. Conducting analysis checks on product specifications.
9. Reviewing Quality Assurance reports.
10. Ensuring the successful deployment of products into the market.
11. Responding to requests from the design team and management

Technical Skillset:
1. Demonstrated experience over the test framework setup and usage
2. Test case , test tracking tools
3. Database testing - Working with queries to validate the scenarios.
4. API testing – Postman, SOAPUI, REST API
5. Mandatory Requirement: Candidates must need to know or should have hands-on experience using
GitHub Copilot as part of their development or QA workflow. They should be comfortable leveraging
Copilot for tasks such as test script creation, code suggestions, automation support, and improving overall
productivity

Knowledge of Tools
1. Knowledge of C#/ Java code with Selenium, Ruby Cucumber with Gherkin, BDD &TDD support
tools, anything equivalent
2. Knowledge in code versioning tools like Git\ TFS\ Bit Bucket, etc.
3. Pipeline Setup, Configuration management
4. Security- Vulnerability tool-based testing & reports
