Quality Control Engineer
Job Description:
Department: Quality Assurance / Quality Control
Reporting To: QA/QC Manager
Qualification: Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented QC Engineer to ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards. The candidate will be responsible for inspection, testing, documentation, and coordination with internal teams and third-party inspectors to maintain quality standards during manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
1.Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspection of components and finished products as per quality standards and approved drawings.
2.Prepare and maintain inspection reports, quality records, and documentation as per ITP, procedures, and customer requirements.
3.Coordinate with Third Party Inspection Agencies (TPIA) and clients during inspections and resolve quality-related queries.
4.Ensure compliance with applicable international standards, codes, and project specifications.
5.Monitor manufacturing processes to identify quality issues and support corrective and preventive actions.
6.Work closely with production and engineering teams to ensure quality requirements are met.
7.Maintain calibration records and ensure inspection instruments are properly calibrated.
8.Support internal audits, external audits, and customer quality audits.
Required Skills
•Knowledge of quality inspection techniques and tools
•Understanding of engineering drawings and specifications
•Familiarity with quality standards and documentation
•Good communication and coordination skills
•Attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Preferred Skills
•Experience in valve manufacturing or mechanical industry
•Knowledge of international standards such as API, ASTM, ASME, ISO
•Experience handling TPI inspections
Additional Details :
1. Working Days: Monday to Saturday (1st and 3rd Saturdays off)
2. Experience: 3+
3. Working Time: 9.30am to 6.30pm
4. Gender Preference: Male / Female
