Job Description:
Job Summary: The job holder will be a key member in the Actuarial – Regulatory Reporting and Reserving team, involved in end to end reserve estimation, IFRS 17 reporting and other reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- IFRS17 reporting and Group reporting activities.
- Assist in IFRS 17 system implementation
- Prepare, analyse, and communicate the actuarial reserves for various lines of business.
- Local regulatory reporting activities
- Maintain and enhance actuarial reserving models to ensure data integrity and model accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain actuarial documentation.
- Respond to queries from auditors and regulators.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and automate reserving and reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Key Measures of Performance:
- Timely and accurate reserve estimation and reporting
- Automation of IFRS 17 reporting and reserving processes
Key Relationships (Internal / External):
- Internal: Senior Management, Financial Reporting and Controls Team, Other Actuarial functions
- External: Group BUPA team and IRDA
Preferred Skill Set
- Advanced working knowledge in MS – Office (essential)
- Knowledge of IFRS 17 and local reporting requirements
- Proficiency in at least one programming language preferably Pyspark/Python
- Strong analytical skill set
Minimum Qualification & Experience:
- Graduate with at least 4 Actuarial exams passed.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Actuarial Regulatory Reporting, IFRS 17 Reporting.
