Job Description:

Min Qualification: BE/B.Tech. Chemical/Petrochem/Mechanical with ADIS from recognized
Min Experience: 1 year
Work location: Roha location in Maharashtra
Reporting To: HOD (HSE)
Peers (Functional Interaction with): HODs/HOSs/Executives/TMs/ Employees for different purposes during day-to-day operations.

Job Purpose / Responsible for:
Compliance of role, responsibilities and accountability with respect to Departmental Key Processes.
Provides HSE support and advice to various departments and functions in line with Company HSE Policies, Management Systems, Procedures and Practices.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1) Compliance with applicable Legal Requirements:
Assist in preparation of applications related to industrial safety requirements i.e. The Factories Act, 1948, The Maharashtra Factories Rules, 1963, The OSH Code 2020, The OSH&WC Rules 2025, Petroleum and Explosive Safety Organization, Environment Protection Act, etc.
Filing of statutory returns pertaining to industrial safety legislation i.e. Annual Return, Plan Approvals, Safety Report,Safety Audit, Site Notification, etc.
Assist in maintaining statutory records required as per PESO, DISH, SPCB, as applicable.
Updates about legislative changes and implementation of the same.
Conduct periodic evaluation of legal requirements.

2) Operation and Maintenance of Safety Management Systems:
Preparation of operation and maintenance plans related to Safety Management in line with standards, codes and applicable legal requirements.

3) Internal Inspections and Audits
Conduct Self and Internal Audits, Compilation of NCR and CAPA Reports, assist in coordinating External and Third-Party as well as statutory audits
Conduct and evaluate safety inspections and analyze trends and suggest departments to initiate corrective actions.
Preparation of data for Supply Chain i.e. Customers, suppliers HSE Audits Conduct safety audits and studies as per the legal and standards requirements i.e. Third-party Safety Audits, QRA, HAZOP, JSA, etc.

4) HSE Training:
Conduct HSE refresher training, safety briefings, toolbox talks, etc.
Evaluate competency in the field of safety and initiate improvement actions.

5) Safety Management Systems Performance Monitoring and Measurement:
Prepare trend analysis of HSE inspection & monitoring reports/ ensure compliance of HSE monitoring as per plan.
Assist in preparation of various Monitoring Performance Reports.

6) Implementation of Safety Management & Operational Control Procedures:
Implementation of IMS Integrated Management System (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001: 2018)
Review and revise departmental Quality Procedures/Quality Instructions and applicable common QPs / QI Maintain records and clearance of protocols
Organizing various HSE Promotional Activities.

7) Safety improvement Initiatives:
Initiate actions with respect to various safety initiatives, i.e. Reduction of unsafe acts, conditions & improve workplace safety.
Co-ordinating in promoting and improving safety culture.
Co-ordinating for safe execution of projects Implementation of various schemes related to workplace safety, process safety, etc.

8) Project Management:
Co-ordinating for safe execution of projects
Implementation of various schemes related to workplace safety, process safety, etc.
