Quality Engineer

Job Description:

1. Should have good communication skills.
2. Proficiency in computers, particularly MS Office
3. Relevant Knowledge of fabrication codes ASME, ASTM, ISO & IS standards.
4. NDT Level – II Certificate (VT & DPT)
5. Proficiency in documentation work as per the ITP requirement and handling. TPI Inspection and preparation of NDT report as per Code ASME Section-V.
6. Develop and implement QC procedures and processes for fabrication activities.
7. Prepare WPS, PQR, WPQ as per ASME Section IX and other EN codes.
8. Ensure compliance with industry standards, project specifications, and the company quality system.
9. Conduct inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure they meet quality standards.
10. Knowledge of reading fabrication drawings.
11. Perform Non-Destructive testing (NDT) methods such as visual and Dye-penetration testing, etc.
12. Inspect welding, painting, and other fabrication processes for defects or deviations from standards.
13. Inspection at the supplier's Works.
14. Review and interpret test results and ensure that corrective actions are taken when necessary.
15. Final Inspection of parts and preparation of Final Documentation
