Site engineer

Role Summary

Responsible for supervising day-to-day site activities and ensuring work execution as per approved drawings, quality standards, and project timelines. Coordinates with contractors and vendors, monitors site progress, verifies measurements, and maintains site reports while ensuring safety compliance.

KRA: Task / Activities

· Supervise daily construction site activities and ensure work is executed as per approved drawings.

· Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and vendors for smooth project execution.

· Monitor site progress and ensure work is completed within the planned timeline.

· Check and verify site measurements, materials, and work quantities.

·  Ensure quality standards and project specifications are followed at the site.

KPI: Performance Metrics

Percentage of site activities completed as per the planned schedules and timelines.

Level of adherence to approved drawings, project specifications and quality standards.

Accuracy in verifying site measurements, material usage, and BOQ Quantities

Number of safety incidents and adherence to site safety regulations and protocols

Timely submission and accuracy of daily site reports, progress updates.

Required Skills

Preferred skills

· Construction site supervision

· Knowledge of construction drawings and plans

· Basic understanding of BOQ and measurements

· Coordination with contractors, vendors, and consultants

· Quality control and site inspection

· Experience in residential or commercial construction projects

· Knowledge of AutoCAD or basic drawing interpretation

· Understanding of BOQ preparation and quantity take-off

· Basic knowledge of project planning and scheduling
