OPERATOR WEIGHBRIDGE FOR STEEL FABRICATOR - RAIPUR , CHHATTISGARH

Job Description:

• Weighing Operations: Operate electronic weighbridge systems (Dharamkata) to determine the net weight of materials by recording both gross (loaded) and tare (empty) weights of vehicles.
• Documentation & Reporting: Generate, issue, and maintain accurate weighment slips, invoices, delivery challans, and gate passes for all inbound and outbound vehicles.
• Data Accuracy: Ensure all weighment data is correctly entered into the company’s ERP/SAP system or manual registers, cross-referencing with documentation to prevent discrepancies.
• Inspection & Compliance: Verify that incoming materials match documentation and that outgoing loads are properly secured and within legal weight limits, reporting any irregularities immediately.
• Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with drivers, security, dispatch, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth traffic flow, especially during busy loading/unloading times.
• Maintenance & Safety: Perform routine cleaning and basic inspections of the weighbridge, reporting any malfunctions to management and ensuring the area is safe and tidy. 
   

• Education: Minimum 10th or 12th standard pass; ITI or Diploma in any trade is preferred.
• Experience: 1–3 years of experience in a similar role, ideally within a manufacturing, steel plant, or logistics environment.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in using computerized weighbridge software, Microsoft Excel, and ERP/SAP.
• Attributes: High level of accuracy, strong attention to detail, and integrity in managing weight records.
• Communication: Effective communication skills for interacting with truck drivers and internal teams.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work in shifts as per production requirements.
