Draftsman (Equipment GA &Fabrication Drawings)

Job Description:

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Draftsman to create detailed General Arrangement (GA)
and fabrication drawings for equipment and machinery. The successful candidate will have
strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Create accurate and detailed GA drawings of equipment and machinery using CAD
software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor).
2. Develop fabrication drawings, including details, sections, and assembly drawings.
3. Collaborate with engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure design intent is
met.
4. Review and revise drawings based on feedback and changes.
5. Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and company policies.
6. Maintain accurate records and documentation of drawings and revisions.
7. Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:
1. Diploma/degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or related field.
2. Minimum 2-5 years of experience in creating GA and fabrication drawings.
3. Proficient in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor).
4. Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, industry standards, and codes.
5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
6. Attention to detail and ability to work accurately.

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience in specific industries (e.g., oil and gas, manufacturing, construction).
2. Knowledge of ASME, API, or other relevant industry standards.
3. Familiarity with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) software.
