Energy Portfolio Management - Sale of Power lead, Mumbai

Job Description:

1. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, energy, commerce or related fields
2. 15 years of work experience in Open Access, energy management, Power Trading (market operations or exchange bidding), Bilateral arrangement for energy sale, REC.
3. Regulatory coordination with Govt entities Discom’s/ LDC/ Transco
4. Must have sharp regulatory knowledge with respect to power scheduling and power trading
5. Ensure timely documentation and approval of T-GNA/GNA/NOC from nodal agency in close coordination with Power trader through GOAR/NOAR portal.
6. Preparing bid strategy through load analysis, mapping the generation for the power consumer, selling surplus energy and optimizing revenue via close coordination with consumer/QCA/internal Operation team/ Power traders and ensure timely submission of bids.
7. Scheduling, Rescheduling, Bifurcation and allotment of energy generated with revision on daily basis from RE plants
8. Continue to explore and tap on bilateral opportunities to ensure realization
9. Daily/ weekly accounting of energy sales on Power exchange, revenue realization, OA charges, trading margins etc.
10. Minimizing the DSM by monitoring the load and generation profile during RTM and ensure proactive communication to QCA/operations team/Power trader to optimize the bid accordingly.
11. Proficiency in MS Excel, data analysis tools, basic forecasting techniques
