Job Description:
A Marketing Officer for a Limestone Manufacturing Company is responsible for developing and executing strategies to promote industrial-grade limestone products (such as quicklime, calcium carbonate, and aggregate) to sectors like construction, agriculture, and steel production. They bridge the gap between production and sales, focusing on market research, lead generation, and client relationship management to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Market Research & Analysis: Identify new market opportunities, customer segments, and competitive threats in the industrial minerals sector.
  • Sales Generation & Lead Management: Develop, qualify, and manage a robust pipeline of new business opportunities to meet sales targets.
  • Client Relationship Management (CRM): Maintain relationships with existing customers and act as the primary contact for inquiries from key industries (e.g., steel, cement, construction, agriculture).
  • Marketing Strategy Implementation: Execute marketing plans, including product promotions, advertising, and digital campaigns, to increase brand awareness.
  • Product Knowledge & Promotion: Develop an in-depth understanding of technical specifications for milled/pulverized limestone products to effectively market them.
  • Event & Campaign Management: Organize and attend trade shows, industry conferences, and promotional events.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, preparing reports on sales trends and market data.
  • Operational Coordination: Coordinate with production and logistics teams to ensure prompt delivery to customers. 
     
 
Required Qualifications and Skills
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Experience: 3-5+ years in marketing, preferably within the manufacturing, mining, or industrial minerals sector.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with industrial minerals (limestone, dolomite, calcium carbonate) or related construction materials.
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
    • Proficiency in CRM software and digital marketing tools.
    • Ability to travel to client sites.
