Job Opening for the Post of Export LCL Freight Forwarding

Job Description:

Job responsibilities include:

·        Briefing the vendors with LCL Consolidation rates, routing, transit time, carrier etc. to various destinations. & complete Logistics Management.

·        Providing LCL freight rates quotations to shippers, forwarders and also for the nomination shipments.

·        Providing information to customers relating to carting, stuffing, loading, connecting vessels, delivery status etc.

·        Soliciting all queries relating to Export freight forwarding and also post shipment issues.

·        Co-ordination with Branch Offices in terms of Ex-works shipments from ICD’s.

·        Knowledge of Hazardous commodities and Classes.

·        Liaison with agents / shipping lines for DG approvals.

·        To check the costing of the console box before stuffing.

·        Liaison with operations at Nhava Sheva (JWR) in terms of planning of console box.

·        Co-ordinating with the Overseas agents regarding the transshipment rates.

·        Negotiating rates with overseas agent in terms of door delivery shipments.

·        Maintaining track of the export shipments with the overseas agents in case of DAP & DDP Shipments.

·        File SI’s with Carries and releasing MB/L & HB/L.

·        HB/L release to Co-loaders.

·        Should have knowledge of AMS / ISF filing.

 

Desired candidates profiles:-

Must be graduate.

Minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience.

Good communications skill.
