People / Employees 7 Job Specification : Educational Experience & Special Skills Required • Reviewing the designs & drawings for debottlenecking the issues to meet the customer requirements consistently. • Satisfaction of Internal / External customers. Managing Director Machine Design To fulfil customer requirements in all aspects with respect to Machine Design • Setting & deploying long term/ short term cost effective strategies for Machine Design Department based on business plans & implement the same. • Ensuring precise synchronization in operation within the Team & Cross functions. • Review of operational effectiveness & necessary systems & procedures of Machine Design department. • Collaborate on new design issues and research projects with team. • Creating a clear vision & strategy & communicating to the team & others. • Ensuring the availability of resources & its allocation • Leading complete Machine Design Team for achieving departmental strategy and special assignments/projects. • Decision making and creating proper level of empowerment within team. • Inculcating corporate values, ethics & sensitivity in behaviour of the team members towards all stakeholders. • Interfacing with senior management, other departments & Management reporting. • Building internal as well as external networks. • Achieving targeted cost and control over operational budget of the department. • Review of departmental budget at regular interval of time. Minimum requirements BE (Production / Mechanical / Electrical ) from a reputed university. 25 to 30 years of core Design experience with min. 10 years in tool room/ machine building industry. Minimum 10 + years of experience of heading Electrical & Mechanical Section of Design department. • Coordination and review of design operations with HQ. • Participate in design meetings and provide continual input to optimize design and minimize futile work. Development of New Machines with B&R controller. • Lead & drive low cost automation / Technology up gradation projects in the department. • All statutory compliances of the department for effective management & accountability. • Identification of Training need , Imparting a job specific Training & measuring Training Effectiveness ( Functional / Behavioural) ASB International Pvt.
