Techno-Commercial Product Costing Engineer
Job Description:
Job brief: We are seeking a Techno-Commercial Product Costing Engineer with strong experience in manufacturing-based costing within the T&D or allied engineering industry.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurate product costing, tender pricing, and profitability analysis across our product portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Detailed BOM-based product costing
- Raw material cost analysis (MS, GI, Copper, Aluminum, Polymers, etc.)
- Forging, fabrication, machining & galvanizing cost calculation
- Injection moulding cycle time & processing cost estimation
- Tender costing and pricing strategy
- Overhead allocation & margin analysis
- Cost reduction & value engineering initiatives
- Coordination with design, production, and sales teams
Requirements and skills:
-M/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
-5–12 years experience in product costing in the T&D / switchgear / heavy fabrication industry
-Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and material yield calculations
