Job Description:

The role demands a senior technical leader with deep engineering experience, strong operational capabilities, and practical expertise in AI/ML technologies. As an influencer across product, data, and technical strategy, this leader will play a key role in shaping Dyad’s technology roadmap and building engineering practices that support innovation and operational excellence.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Leadership & Vision
    • Lead the engineering organization, including Engineering Managers and technical teams, to deliver scalable, reliable, and secure platforms.
    • Partner with executive leadership to define and execute the broader technology strategy and product roadmap.
    • Champion AI and ML initiatives across the company to infuse intelligent capabilities into products and internal workflows.
    • Establish clear engineering KPIs and drive accountability against goals such as delivery velocity, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Team Leadership & Development
    • Build, grow, and mentor a high-performing engineering organization capable of delivering complex SaaS and AI-enabled products.
    • Foster a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement.
    • Guide managers to develop strong people-management practices including performance management, career growth, and recruitment.
Technology & Architecture Oversight
    • Ensure world-class engineering practices, including architecture reviews, coding standards, automated testing, CI/CD, and DevOps discipline.
    • Drive consistent and scalable architecture patterns across product teams.
    • Partner closely with Product Management to make informed technical decisions that align with business priorities.
AI Strategy & Enablement
    • Lead the development and operationalization of AI capabilities that enhance product value (e.g., automation, decision support, predictive analytics, and generative workflows).
    • Evaluate AI frameworks, tooling, and emerging technologies to ensure client's solutions remain competitive and innovative.
    • Work with data engineering and ML teams to establish robust data pipelines and model deployment practices.
    • Ensure strong documentation and operational readiness across cloud services.
Cross Functional Collaboration
    • Partner with Product, Data, Security, and Operations teams to ensure alignment and successful execution.
    • Promote strong communication channels between engineering and business stakeholders.
    • Act as a technical evangelist and trusted advisor to internal teams and external partners.
 
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
 
Technical & Leadership Experience
    • 15+ years of software engineering experience with progressive leadership responsibilities.
    • 5+ years of experience managing engineering managers and technical leaders in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proven experience with large-scale SaaS platforms and modern cloud infrastructure (AWS experience highly preferred).
    • Deep understanding of software architecture, distributed systems, and operational excellence.
AI/Machine Learning Expertise
    • Hands-on experience with AI/ML technologies, including productionizing models, integrating API-based services, or building ML-driven features.
    • Strong understanding of current and emerging AI patterns (e.g., generative models, NLP, predictive analytics).
    • Experience with AI tooling, platforms (e.g., AWS SageMaker, open-source frameworks), and ML Ops practices.
Process & Delivery & Business Acumen
    • Strong track record driving engineering excellence through robust processes (CI/CD, automated testing, code quality, deployment practices).
    • Experience leading large cross-team delivery efforts with measurable outcomes.
    • Ability to connect technical strategy with business outcomes and customer value.
    • Experience working directly with executives and non-technical leadership
 
Required Availability
    • Must be available during overlapping US business hours to support global teams and customers; if required
    • Flexible to collaborate with teams across India and the US.
