The HR Intern will support the HR team with a variety of administrative and HR-related tasks, including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and more. This role is ideal for a student or recent graduate interested in a career in human resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment Support
- Assist with posting job openings on job boards, career sites, and social media platforms.
- Screen resumes, conduct initial candidate screenings, and schedule interviews.
- Communicate with candidates regarding interview schedules and updates.
- Onboarding & Orientation
- Help prepare and organize onboarding materials for new hires.
- Assist in conducting orientation sessions and ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
- Maintain employee records and ensure all documentation is complete.
- Employee Engagement
- Assist in planning and organizing employee engagement activities and events.
- Gather feedback from employees to improve engagement initiatives.
- Administrative Support
- Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
- Assist with drafting and distributing HR-related documents, such as memos and announcements.
- Support HR in various projects and initiatives, including policy development, research, and training sessions.
- Learning & Development
- Participate in training sessions and gain exposure to different areas of HR.
- Assist in tracking employee development and training records.
- Compliance & Record-Keeping
- Ensure employee files and HR records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Help with the administration of company policies and procedures.
Desired Profile / Criteria / Skills :
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong interest in pursuing a career in human resources.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Prior internship or experience in HR is a plus but not required.
