CIVIL ENGINEER FOR TOWER MANUFACTURING - RAIPUR , CHHATTISGARH

Job Description:

• Structural Design & Engineering: Develop detailed structural designs, blueprints, and layouts for towers, foundations, and antenna mounts using CAD and modeling software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, SAP2000).
• Production Oversight: Supervise the fabrication process in the manufacturing facility, ensuring steel structures, coatings, and components meet quality standards (e.g., AISC, ACI codes).
• Feasibility Studies & Investigations: Conduct site investigations, soil tests, and feasibility studies to select appropriate foundation types (e.g., pile foundations for soft soil, concrete foundations).
• Quality Control (QC) & Safety: Perform material testing (concrete strength, steel quality) and enforce strict safety standards, ensuring all tower components are secure and capable of withstanding wind, ice, or seismic loads.
• Project Management & Budgeting: Create project schedules, estimate material/labor costs, and manage resources to meet deadlines and budget constraints.
• Site Surveying & Installation Support: Supervise on-site installation, including tower erection, verticality checks, and foundation casting, acting as a liaison between the manufacturing unit and on-site contractors.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs and installations comply with local, state, and federal codes, and obtain necessary permits.
• Modification & Repair: Propose technical modifications to existing tower designs for equipment upgrades (structural capacity checks). 
   

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 0–3+ years of experience in structural design, precast concrete, or tower manufacturing construction.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, ANSYS).
• Licensing: Professional Engineer (PE) license is often required or preferred.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills for reporting and coordinating with teams. 

• Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve design or production discrepancies quickly.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of steel fabrication, concrete technology, and foundation mechanics.
• Time Management: Capable of handling multiple project deadlines simultaneously.
• Detail-Oriented: Focused on accuracy in measurements, structural modeling, and bills of materials.
