Job Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Account Executive to manage the company’s day-to-day accounting and statutory compliance activities. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Indian accounting practices, payroll processing, and regulatory compliance including GST, TDS, PF, and ESIC.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining financial records, managing payroll operations, ensuring timely statutory filings, and handling compliance requirements related to SEZ operations. The candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting processes and the ability to ensure accuracy and compliance in financial operations.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage day-to-day accounting activities including recording financial transactions, reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Process monthly payroll and ensure accurate salary calculations, deductions, and compliance with statutory requirements.
• Manage Provident Fund (PF) payments and ensure timely filing of PF returns.
• Handle Professional Tax calculations and ensure timely payment and compliance.
• Prepare and file ESIC returns in accordance with statutory deadlines.
• Prepare and file GST returns including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B.
• Manage TDS calculations, payments, and timely filing of TDS returns.
• Ensure compliance with SOFTEX and SERF requirements applicable to SEZ entities.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants for financial reporting and statutory compliance.
• Maintain proper documentation and records for audit and regulatory purposes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in accounting and statutory compliance.
• Strong understanding of Indian taxation and compliance including GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, and Professional Tax.
• Experience handling payroll processing and statutory deductions.
• Familiarity with SEZ compliance requirements including SOFTEX and SERF filings is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record keeping.
• Good analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple compliance deadlines and work independently.
