Account Executive

Role Summary

The Accountant will be responsible for handling end-to-end accounting activities, including sales, purchases, expenses, banking, voucher entries, and GST filing support. The role involves managing accounts for three companies and ensuring accurate financial records.

KRA: Task / Activities

• Handle sales, purchases, and expense accounting.
• Maintain daily accounting entries and vouchers.
• Manage bank entries, reconciliations, and transactions.
• Prepare and maintain books of accounts for three companies.
• Assist in GST return preparation and filing.
• Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping.
• Coordinate with auditors and consultants when required.
• Support management with basic financial reports.

KPI: Performance Metrics

• Accuracy and completeness of accounting records.
•  Timely updating of books and voucher entries.
•  Proper bank reconciliation and error-free reporting.
•  Compliance with GST and statutory requirements.
•  Ability to manage multiple company accounts efficiently.

• Strong knowledge of accounting fundamentals.
• Experience in handling sales, purchases, expenses, and bank entries.
• Knowledge of GST processes and return filing assistance.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.

• Experience managing multiple company accounts.
• Exposure to audits and statutory compliance.
• Experience in trading / retail business (added advantage).
