Job Description:

A Branch Manager in the financial services sector oversees daily operations, drives sales growth, ensures regulatory compliance, and leads staff to achieve targets. Key duties include managing financial performance, fostering customer relationships, and implementing strategies to increase accounts and profitability, typically requiring 5+ years of banking experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development: Achieve branch sales targets (loans, accounts, investment products) and acquire new clients.
- Operational Leadership: Oversee day-to-day branch activities, ensuring efficiency and compliance with banking regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate staff performance to create a high-performance culture.
- Customer Experience: Build and maintain strong relationships with high-value clients and resolve escalated customer service issues.
- Financial Management: Develop and manage the branch budget, analyze financial performance metrics, and implement cost-saving measures.
- Risk Management: Ensure strict adherence to credit policies, security procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Experience: Generally 5–7 years of experience in the banking or financial services industry, including, at least 2 years in a management role.
- Skills: Strong leadership, sales aptitude, analytical skills, and expert knowledge of financial products and regulations.
