Job Description:
A Computer Operator and Tally Assistant manages daily financial records, inventory, and office data using TallyPrime/ERP 9 and computer applications. Responsibilities include accurate data entry, invoice generation, GST filing, bank reconciliation, and general administrative support to ensure smooth, efficient office financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Tally & Accounting: Record daily financial transactions including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal vouchers.
- Data Entry & Billing: Generate invoices, manage accounts payable/receivable, and maintain inventory records.
- Compliance: Handle basic GST compliance, TDS deductions, and bank reconciliations.
- Office Administration: Perform data entry in MS Excel/Word, manage office files, and provide clerical support.
- Reporting: Generate daily/monthly financial reports, stock reports, and customer statements for management.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of TallyPrime or Tally ERP 9.
- Computer Literacy: Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel).
- Typing Skills: High speed and accuracy in data entry.
- Education/Experience: Generally requires a high school diploma or a degree in Commerce (B.Com) with 1–3 years of relevant experience.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, organization, and professional communication.
Typical Working Environment
- Full-time, office-based role, often working closely with the accounting or finance department.
