Strategy Head
Role Overview
The Head of Strategy will lead the design and execution of high-impact strategic initiatives across workforce optimization, productivity enhancement, AI adoption, and enterprise digitization. This role will also build and lead high-performing analytics and data science teams to enable data-driven decision-making and scalable transformation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership
Define and drive the organization’s strategy across:
Workforce optimization
Operational productivity
AI and automation adoption
Digital transformation initiatives
Partner with executive leadership to align strategy with business objectives and growth plans.
2. Leadership & Team Management
Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of:
Data Analysts
Data Scientists
Strategy and Transformation professionals
Drive hiring plans, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new team members aligned with business needs.
Define team structure, roles, and career progression frameworks.
Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.
Ensure effective collaboration between analytics, business, and technology teams.
3. Workforce Optimization
Analyze workforce utilization, capacity, and performance metrics.
Design and implement models for:
Workforce planning
Skill mapping and reskilling
Cost optimization
Drive initiatives like shared services, outsourcing, or automation where relevant.
4. Productivity Improvement
Identify inefficiencies across business processes.
Lead continuous improvement programs (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
Define KPIs and track productivity gains across teams and functions.
5. AI & Automation Strategy
Identify high-impact use cases for AI/ML and automation.
Collaborate with tech teams to implement AI tools (e.g., predictive analytics, chatbots, RPA).
Evaluate build vs. buy decisions for AI solutions.
6. Digitization & Transformation
Drive digitization of manual processes and legacy systems.
Lead enterprise-wide digital transformation programs.
Ensure seamless integration of new technologies into existing workflows.
7. Program Management
Oversee end-to-end execution of strategic initiatives.
Establish governance frameworks, milestones, and success metrics.
Manage cross-functional teams and external partners/consultants.
8. Data-Driven Decision Making
Build dashboards and reporting frameworks.
Leverage analytics and data science insights to drive business decisions.
Monitor ROI and impact of all strategic initiatives.
9. Stakeholder Management
Work closely with CXOs, business heads, HR, and IT teams.
Influence decision-making at senior levels.
Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes effectively.
