Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Legal Manager  to join our dynamic Legal Department

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in handling all legal aspects related to real estate development, with a strong focus on construction and RERA (Real Estate Regulatory Authority) compliance. This mid-level position requires a thorough understanding of real estate processes, the ability to draft and negotiate various legal documents, and effective coordination with multiple departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract Management: Draft, negotiate, and finalize a range of legal documents including construction contracts, work orders, purchase orders, and agreements related to real estate development.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Ensure compliance with RERA regulations and other statutory requirements. Handle due diligence and documentation related to real estate transactions and development.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with project teams, finance teams, and marketing teams to gather input and complete the documentation process effectively.
  • Ancillary Document Drafting: Prepare and manage ancillary documents such as Permanent Alternate Accommodation agreements, Powers of Attorney, loan documentation, and other related legal documents.
  • Legal Support: Provide legal support and advice on real estate development and redevelopment projects. Interact with statutory and municipal authorities as necessary.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Law Graduate or Post Graduate degree in law.
  • Experience: Minimum of five to seven years of experience in the real estate field, with a comprehensive understanding of real estate development, redevelopment, and RERA processes.
  • Drafting Expertise: Good drafting skills, adept in English. Proven mastery in drafting construction contracts and general legal documentation related to real estate.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and interact with other departments.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in Marathi is an added advantage.
  • Coordination: Ability to coordinate and interact with statutory and municipal authorities.

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Working Hours: 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM
