 About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AWS Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure on AWS. In this role, you will drive cloud architecture, automation, and optimization initiatives while collaborating closely with development and operations teams. You will play a critical role in building robust cloud environments using best practices, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and modern DevOps methodologies.

 Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable AWS cloud infrastructure including compute, storage, networking, and databases.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform (preferred) or CloudFormation.
• Implement, manage, and enhance CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, optimize resource utilization, and reduce cloud costs.
• Implement and enforce cloud security best practices, governance, and compliance standards.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues.
• Work closely with application development teams to support cloud-native solutions.
• Implement and manage AWS Landing Zone (LZA) or Control Tower for multi-account environments.
• Configure and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting using tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Stay current with emerging AWS services, tools, and industry trends.

 Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with core AWS services: EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Lambda, EKS/ECS
• Expert-level experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Strong scripting skills in Python and/or Bash
• Proven experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins, or similar)
• Deep understanding of cloud networking and security concepts
• Experience with monitoring, observability, and logging tools (AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana)
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
• Experience working in Agile/DevOps environments
