Job Description:
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee and manage end-to-end garment production operations. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely production, maintaining quality standards, optimizing resources, and improving operational efficiency within the manufacturing unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and control production schedules to meet delivery timelines
- Manage daily operations of the production floor including cutting, stitching, finishing, and packing
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials
- Monitor production output and implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce wastage
- Coordinate with merchandising, quality, and supply chain teams for smooth workflow
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and compliance with company policies
- Handle production issues, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions
- Maintain production reports, MIS, and performance tracking
- Ensure workplace safety and maintain proper housekeeping on the shop floor
- Train and supervise production staff and line supervisors
