Job Description:
A Dispatch Executive manages the daily outbound logistics, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of goods. They coordinate with warehouse, production, and transport teams, manage documentation (invoices, E-way bills), monitor shipments, and resolve logistical discrepancies. Key skills include ERP proficiency, logistics management, and strong communication. 
 
Key Responsibilities
    • Logistics Coordination: Manage the entire dispatch process, including loading and scheduling transport vehicles.
    • Documentation: Generate and verify invoices, E-way bills, and consignment notes for accurate compliance.
    • Inventory Control:
       Verify stock quality and quantity, ensuring accurate inventory records using ERP software (e.g., Tally, SAP).
  • Tracking & Monitoring: Track shipments to ensure timely delivery and update internal teams on status.
  • Problem Resolution: Resolve delivery delays, discrepancies, or damaged goods issues promptly.
  • FIFO/FEFO Implementation: Ensure first-in-first-out (FIFO) or first-expired-first-out (FEFO) methods for inventory dispatch. 
     
  • Required Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in dispatch, logistics, or warehouse operations, often in a manufacturing setting.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and ERP software (SAP, Tally).
  • Competencies: Strong organizational skills, ability to work under pressure, and strong communication skills. 
     
Key Metrics (KPIs)
  • On-time delivery percentage.
  • Dispatch accuracy (loading/documentation).
  • Vehicle turnaround time. 
     
Common Job Requirements
  • Ability to work in shifts (if applicable).
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations
