Job Description:
Position: Executive/Manager - Sales & Marketing (API)
Location: Andheri - Mumbai
Experience: 2 - 10 Years
Industries: Pharma - API
Responsibilities:
- Sales & Business Development
- Develop and execute sales strategies for APIs in the domestic Indian market
- Identify and onboard new clients (pharma companies, formulators, contract manufacturers)
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
- Prepare and deliver sales forecasts and reports
- Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with procurement, R&D, and regulatory teams of pharma companies
- Handle key accounts and ensure repeat business
- Address customer queries, pricing negotiations, and contract discussions
- Market Intelligence & Strategy
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing dynamics
- Identify high-demand APIs and emerging therapeutic segments
- Provide inputs for product portfolio expansion
- Coordination with Internal Teams
- Work closely with production, supply chain, QA/QC, and regulatory teams
- Ensure timely delivery and compliance with customer requirements
- Support documentation for regulatory submissions when needed
- Marketing Activities
- Participate in industry exhibitions, conferences, and client meetings
- Prepare marketing materials, presentations, and product dossiers
- Promote company’s API portfolio to domestic clients
Required Skills:

Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Knowledge of API manufacturing, regulatory norms (CDSCO, GMP, etc.)
- Commercial acumen and market understanding
- Ability to travel extensively within India
Required Qualification: - B.Pharm/M.Pharm/B.Sc/M.Sc - Chemistry/MBA - Marketing
Salary: - Upto 10.00 LPA
