GET PRODUCTION FOR STEEL MANUFACTURING - RAIPUR , CHHATTISGARH
Job Description:
- Process Optimization: Monitor steel melting shop (SMS), ladle furnace, and caster processes to optimize yield, temperature, and quality.
- Quality Control & Testing: Perform destructive and non-destructive tests (tensile, microstructure, metallography) on billets, Wirerod, or ferroalloys.
- Failure Analysis: Investigate corrosion, cracks, and metal fatigue to identify root causes.
- Production Support: Work with production teams to improve raw material usage and reduce wastage.
- Documentation: Prepare technical reports, update standard operating procedures (SOPs), and maintain records in compliance with ISO standards.
- Education: B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Metallurgy or Materials Science.
- Skills: Technical knowledge of steel making, familiarity with Spectro/tensile machines, and proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong understanding of heat treatment, physical metallurgy, and alloying.
- Problem-solving abilities to address production issues.
- Good communication skills for coordinating with workers and seniors.
