Qualification: 2year ITI- Fitter + 1-year Apprenticeship in fabrication/machine building Industry

Experience: 3-5 years

Area of exposure/ competency:

• Assembly and fitting of the whole range of products given the relevant specifications and Bill of Materials. Training and guidance will be given as appropriate. 
• In Process testing of sub-assemblies. 
• Compilation of assembly records. (“As Built” drawing and other recommended changes to design for easier assembly or enhancement of the product). 
• Assist in solutions to overcome problems found on assembly. 
• Loading and unloading of equipment as required.
• Any factory maintenance as required. 
• Occasionally work off-site at client’s premises or other areas designated as assembly points. 
• Assist in training of new colleagues. 
• Ensure proper handling and storage of assembly tools. 
• Ensure proper handling of equipment to minimise damage through assembly process. 
• Work extra if necessary to ensure deadlines and schedules are met. 
• Leave working areas in fit state to ensure no unnecessary health and safety risks prevail. Work in a manner that ensures the safety of oneself and other colleagues

through complying with the procedures, rules and regulations.

• Any other duties deemed appropriate by senior managers or factory manager or designate. 
• Verifies with specifications by measuring completed component.
• Safely using of any hand tools and power tools.
