Job Description:

Position:     Material Planning Engineer

Location:     Shirwal - Pune

Experience:  3 - 6 years

Industries:   Engineering

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and execute material requirement planning (MRP) based on production schedules and BOM.
• Ensure timely availability of raw materials, bought-out parts, consumables, and sub- assemblies.
• Coordinate with purchase, stores, production, and vendors to avoid shortages or excess inventory.
• Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock to meet production and cost targets.
• Track material consumption, lead times, and delivery schedules.
• Release purchase requisitions as per planning requirements.
• Handle material shortages, excess, slow-moving, and non-moving inventory.
• Support production planning for new projects and engineering changes.
• Maintain accurate material master data and BOM in ERP system.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly material planning and inventory reports.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and company procedures.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of BOM, MRP, inventory control
• ERP knowledge (SAP / Oracle / Tally / ERPNext etc.)
• Good analytical, coordination, and communication skills

Required Qualification: - Diploma/B.E/B.Tech - Mechanical

Salary: - Up to 5.00 LPA
