Job Description

1.Production Planning:
• Develop and implement the master production schedule (MPS) for the corrugation plant.
• Coordinate with the sales and procurement departments to understand demand forecasts and customer requirements.
• Plan raw material and finished goods inventory levels to meet production schedules.
• Ensure all production targets are met while maintaining adherence to quality standards.

2. Scheduling and Coordination:
• Prepare daily, weekly & monthly production schedules based on capacity planning and order priorities.
• Monitor the progress of production to ensure timely completion of orders.
• Coordinate with production teams, supervisors, and other departments to resolve issues that may impact production schedules.

3. Inventory Management:
• Manage raw material and finished goods inventory to avoid overstocking orshortages.
• Oversee inventory control and work with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of raw materials.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, production outputs, and materials used.

4. Process Optimization:
• Monitor production performance and suggest improvements to reduce downtime and enhance operational efficiency.
• Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the production process and work towards their resolution.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles to optimize resource utilization and minimize waste.

5. Quality Control:
• Ensure that production processes comply with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with the quality control department to address any product quality issues during production.

6. Reporting and Documentation:
• Prepare regular reports on production performance, inventory levels, and supply chain activities for management.
• Maintain accurate documentation for all production-related activities, including material usage and production output.

7. Team Management:
• Supervise and train the production planning team to ensure they are following proper planning and control processes.
• Provide guidance and support to the team to meet plant production goals.

8. Cost Management:
• Work to reduce production costs while ensuring quality and meeting customer deadlines.
• Track and report on costs associated with production, including material wastage and labor utilization
