Job Description:
- System Monitoring: Supervise console displays for data processing, networks, and hardware malfunctions.
- Data Management: Enter, update, and retrieve information from company databases, ensuring data integrity.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on hardware (printers, scanners) and software installations/updates.
- Backup & Security: Execute data backups to prevent data loss and follow security protocols.
- Troubleshooting: Resolve or escalate hardware/software issues and user issues.
- Reporting: Generate reports on system performance and document daily activities.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required, with many employers preferring an associate’s degree or IT certifications.
- Experience: Previous experience in computer operations, data entry, or a related role.
- Technical Knowledge: Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel) and basic understanding of Windows/UNIX systems.
- Skills: High typing accuracy, attention to detail, problem-solving, and ability to work under pressure.
- High School Diploma.
