Job Description:
About the Company: We are a dynamic and rapidly growing startup in the EPC sector, specializing in the Oil & Gas, Water Treatment, and Industrial Infrastructure domains. We undertake projects that span across the fabrication and installation of pressure vessels, tanks, piping systems, CBG, and various water treatment facilities. As we expand, we seek a highly skilled Project Manager to lead and deliver complex projects while maintaining our reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership and Execution: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering, procurement, and construction projects in the Oil & Gas, water treatment, and related industrial sectors. Oversee project lifecycle from design, procurement, fabrication, installation to commissioning. o Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to required specifications and quality standards. Develop and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the main point of contact for clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams. Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring their expectations are met and exceeded. Coordinate with the engineering team for smooth execution and resolution of technical challenges. Report project progress to senior management and key stakeholders regularly.
- Team Leadership and Development: Supervise and mentor project teams, including engineers, site supervisors, and support staff. Coordinate resources across different departments (procurement, engineering, construction) to ensure seamless project delivery. o Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify potential risks to project timelines, costs, and quality and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor the health and safety standards on site, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
- Procurement and Vendor Management: Oversee the procurement of materials, equipment, and services, ensuring compliance with contract specifications and budgets. o Manage relationships with suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring timely delivery of services and materials.
- Quality and Compliance: Ensure adherence to industry standards, health and safety regulations, and environmental compliance. Lead quality assurance and quality control efforts to ensure all deliverables meet the highest standards.
- Project Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, change orders, progress reports, and meeting notes. o Prepare project status reports and documentation for clients, ensuring transparency and clear communication.
Required Skills & Qualifications: • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Experience: 5-10 years of project management experience in the EPC sector, specifically in Oil & Gas, fabricated items (vessels, tanks), site piping systems, CBG, and water treatment projects.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale projects from conception to completion.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Expertise in coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and managing project scope, risks, and deliverables.
- Solid knowledge of industry regulations, codes, and standards, including safety standards.
Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar tools).
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Desirable Skills:
- Experience with international projects or working in diverse geographical locations.
- Expertise in managing CBG, water treatment, and Oil & Gas-related projects.
- Understanding of design, engineering, procurement, and construction processes within the EPC framework.
- Ability to develop innovative solutions to complex project challenges.
