Accountant ( LED Light Store)

Job Description:

Role Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with statutory regulations. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced creative business environment.

KRA: Task / Activities

• Maintain daily accounting entries (Sales, Purchase, Expenses)
• Manage Accounts Payable & Receivable
• Prepare GST returns and ensure compliance
• Perform bank reconciliations and ledger scrutiny
• Maintain invoices, bills, and financial records
• Handle payroll processing (if applicable)
• Assist in financial reporting and MIS preparation
• Coordinate with CA for audits and filings
• Track expenses and support budgeting activities

KPI: Performance Metrics

• Accuracy of financial records (error-free entries)
• Timely GST filing and statutory compliance
• Monthly closing within deadlines
• Vendor & client payment cycle efficiency
• Audit readiness and documentation quality
• MIS report submission timeliness

Desired Profile / Criteria / Skills :

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles
• Experience with Tally / Zoho Books / similar tools
• GST, TDS, and basic compliance knowledge
• MS Excel proficiency
• Attention to detail and accuracy

Preferred skills

• Experience in creative/media/design agency
• Knowledge of financial reporting & MIS
• Basic payroll handling experience
