Job Description:

Position             : Sr. Manager - NPD, IE, PO

Department        : Process Engineering (SME)

Experience           : 12–18 Years

Qualification        : B.E./B.Tech + preferably an MBA or PMP certification.

Salary Budget      : 15.00 to 20.00 LPA

Location                : Vadodara, Bhayli

 

Key Responsibilities :

 

NPD & Industrialization (The APQP Specialist) :

 

  1. APQP Leadership: Leading the Gateway reviews for new Heat Exchanger projects (Radiators, Condensers, Oil Coolers).
  2. Design for Manufacturing (DFM): Reviewing R&D designs to ensure they can be built at high speed without excessive scrap.
  3. Resource Planning: Forecasting and justifying CAPEX (New Brazing Furnaces, Robotic Core Stackers, Fin Mills).
  4. Vendor Management: Technical evaluation of tooling and special-purpose machine (SPM) suppliers.

 

Industrial Engineering (The System Architect) :

 

  1. Macro Layout Planning: Designing the Plant-in-Plant layouts for new product lines (e.g., dedicated lines for Radiator , CAC,Oil Coolers).
  2. Standardization: Establishing the Time Standards (MOST/MTM) and Manpower Planning for the entire division.
  3. Capacity Modelling: Creating mathematical models to predict when the plant will hit its ceiling based on different product mixes.

 

Process Optimization (The Profit Guard) :

 

  1. Yield Management: Driving "Zero Leak" initiatives at the Brazing and Testing stages.
  2. Digitalization (Industry 4.0): Implementing IoT sensors on furnaces and testing rigs to capture real-time OEE data.
  3. Cost Out (VAVE): Identifying material or process changes that reduce the BOM (Bill of Materials) cost without affecting thermal performance.

 

 

Soft Skills :

 

  • Strategic thinking, high-level stakeholder management, and the ability to lead a team of 10–15 Engineers/Managers.N7:N12
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving: Strong ability to analyze complex processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement effective solutions.
  • Project Management: Demonstrated capability to manage multiple engineering projects simultaneously, from conception to completion.
  • Leadership & Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to lead cross-functional teams and present technical information clearly.
  • Innovation Mindset: A proactive approach to driving innovation in manufacturing techniques and process technology.
  • Attention To Detail: Meticulous focus on quality, documentation, and adherence to technical standards.
