JD - 

• Manage end-to-end procurement of specialty chemicals, ensuring timely sourcing, negotiation, and delivery in line with production and R&D requirements.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable domestic and international suppliers with a focus on quality, cost-efficiency, and compliance.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and supply agreements to achieve optimal commercial terms while maintaining long-term supplier relationships.
• Coordinate & collaborate closely with R&D, quality, Lab Associate, Scientists and other stakeholders at R&D to understand technical specifications and ensure accurate sourcing.
• Assist Corporate Procurement in floating enquiries follow up with vendors for timely deliveries of Lab chemicals and other consumables.
• Hands on knowledge of SAP, creation of Purchase requisition,  Creation of CER, Punching GRN
• Maintain accurate procurement records, documentation, and inventory levels using ERP systems.
• Maintaining proper records of GRN and invoices for compliance and timely payments to vendor
• Manage import/export logistics, documentation, and coordination with customs, freight forwarders, and regulatory bodies where applicable.
• Drive cost optimization initiatives, vendor consolidation, and process improvements within the procurement function.

Required Skills:

• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
• Knowledge of Lab Chemicals & R&D Procurement
• Good communication and coordination abilities
• Basic understanding of inventory and supply chain management
• Proficiency in MS Excel / ERP systems

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Science/Commerce, Diploma or degree in SCM will be added advantage
• 1-2 years of experience in procurement or sourcing of Lab Chemicals & equipment.
