Accounts Head / Accounts Manager

Job Description:

Department Accounts & Finance Reporting to MD Location Mulund West Education Qualification / Preference • CMA (Certified Management Accountant) from ICAI (Institute of Chartered Accountants of India) or equivalent OR • CA (Chartered Accountant) OR CA Inter / CMA Inter • MBA (Finance) from a reputed institution OR • B.Com / M.Com with strong costing and financial background Tasks • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accuracy in all financial records. • Supervise finalization of accounts, preparation of balance sheet, P&L, and schedules. • Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and ROC requirements. • Coordinate with statutory, internal, and cost auditors, ensuring smooth and timely audits. • Manage vendor payments, bank reconciliations, and inter-unit accounts. • Maintain inventory and fixed asset accounting; reconcile with factory and store records. • Prepare and submit monthly MIS reports for review by the Finance Head and management. • Ensure ERP-based accounting control, month-end closures, and reporting accuracy. • Supervise and mentor a team of accountants across head office and factories. • Support the Finance Head in financial planning, audit preparation, and compliance documentation. Leadership & Management Skills • Strong analytical & decision-making skills . Experience Required • 8–12 years’ experience in manufacturing and export-based companies. • Proven experience in factory accounting, export documentation, and audit coordination. • Excellent knowledge of GST, TDS, and financial compliance under Companies Act. • Proficiency in ERP systems (Tally, Udyog ERP, or equivalent) and MS Excel. • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and process discipline. • Effective team leader with good communication and problem-solving ability
