Job Title: Plant Head – Automobile Scrapping Unit

Experience Required: 8–12 Years (Automobile/Manufacturing/Scrapping Operations)

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Plant Head to lead operations at an automobile scrapping unit. The role involves managing end-to-end plant activities, ensuring compliance, optimizing processes, and driving operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee complete plant operations including vehicle dismantling and scrapping processes
• Ensure compliance with government regulations and environmental norms
• Manage plant staff, supervisors, and technicians
• Plan and monitor daily production and operational targets
• Implement safety standards and ensure workplace safety compliance
• Coordinate procurement, inventory, and disposal of scrap materials
• Maintain machinery, equipment, and operational efficiency
• Monitor costs, budgets, and profitability of plant operations
• Develop and implement process improvements for productivity and quality
• Liaise with vendors, transporters, and regulatory authorities

Requirements:

• 8–12 years of experience in automobile/manufacturing/scrapping industry
• Strong knowledge of vehicle dismantling and recycling processes
• Familiarity with pollution control and compliance norms
• Proven leadership and team management skills
• Good understanding of plant operations, inventory, and logistics
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Preferred Candidate:

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering
• Experience in vehicle scrapping or recycling plants
• Knowledge of government policies related to scrappage
