Job Description:
A Senior Executive HR in a steel pipes manufacturing unit acts as a bridge between management and shop-floor workers, focusing on industrial relations, high-volume recruitment, statutory compliance, and payroll management. They ensure a safe, disciplined, and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Industrial Relations & Compliance: Manage labor unions, handle grievances, and ensure adherence to the Factories Act 1948, minimum wages, and safety regulations.
- Recruitment & HR Operations: Lead end-to-end recruitment for technical and non-technical staff, including onboarding, safety training, and managing contract labor.
- Payroll & Attendance: Oversee time office functions, including shift management, leave records, and contractor billing.
- Performance & Engagement: Implement performance appraisal systems and organize employee welfare initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience & Education: 4-10 years of HR experience, ideally in manufacturing/heavy engineering, with a relevant degree (MBA/MSW).
- Competencies: Strong conflict resolution skills, proficiency in HRMS/Excel, and experience handling shop-floor operations.
