Job Description:
Position : Resident Sales Manager ( Mainly for Spares / Repairs Job)
Location : Vadodara / Ahmedabad ( Must be residing in Ahmedabad/ Vadodara)
Salary Budget : Up to 9 Lacs p.a.
Exp required : 8 to 10 years relevant experience from from below only Cooling Tower Companies
Qualification : Graduate in Engineering / Commerce / Management.
MBA in Sales & Marketing preferred.
Job Summary:
The Resident Sales Manager will be responsible for managing sales operations within the assigned territory, developing new business opportunities, maintaining key customer relationships, and achieving revenue targets for the company’s manufacturing products. The role requires strong market presence, frequent customer interaction, and coordination with internal teams for smooth execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for assigned region/territory.
- Develop new customers and generate business opportunities in industrial, commercial, and project segments.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, consultants, contractors, dealers, and channel partners.
- Conduct market visits, customer meetings, and product presentations regularly.
- Handle inquiries, negotiations, and closure of orders.
- Prepare and submit techno-commercial quotations in coordination with internal teams.
- Track competitor activities, pricing trends, and market developments.
- Coordinate with production, dispatch, accounts, and service departments for smooth order execution.
- Ensure timely payment collection and control outstanding dues.
- Prepare weekly sales reports, visit reports, pipeline status, and market intelligence reports.
- Participate in exhibitions, trade fairs, and industry networking events.
- Build territory growth strategy and identify new application areas for products.
Required Skills:
- Strong sales and negotiation skills.
- Good communication and relationship management abilities.
- Knowledge of B2B industrial / manufacturing sales processes.
- Territory management and business development expertise.
- Ability to work independently and travel extensively.
- Good command of MS Excel, CRM, and reporting tools.
