Job Summary

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the convenience store(s), ensuring smooth functioning, excellent customer service, and achievement of sales and profitability targets. The role focuses on staff management, store performance, inventory control, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Store Operations Management

1. Oversee daily store operations to ensure efficiency and smooth workflow
2. Maintain store standards, cleanliness, and visual merchandising
3. Ensure all operational procedures are followed

2. Team Management

1. Hire, train, and supervise store staff
2. Prepare staff schedules and manage attendance
3. Motivate team to achieve performance targets

3. Sales & Customer Service

1. Drive sales and meet revenue targets
2. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
3. Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly

4. Inventory & Stock Control

1. Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment
2. Minimize stock loss, shrinkage, and wastage
3. Conduct regular stock audits

5. Financial & Cost Control

1. Manage daily cash handling and store expenses
2. Monitor P&L and identify cost-saving opportunities
3. Ensure proper billing and transaction accuracy

6. Vendor & Supply Coordination

1. Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery of goods
2. Support procurement and ensure product availability

7. Compliance & Safety

1. Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations
2. Maintain health, safety, and hygiene standards
