Key Responsibilities
On-Site Supervision & Installation
- Supervise the delivery, assembly, and installation of furniture at client sites (e.g., commercial, residential, or retail spaces).
- Interpret blueprints, layout plans, and design drawings to ensure accurate furniture placement and assembly.
- Resolve any on-site discrepancies, installation issues, or client concerns quickly and efficiently.
- Manage on-site workers, subcontractors, and laborers to ensure maximum productivity and adherence to project timelines.
Manufacturing & Quality Control
- Coordinate with the production and design teams to align on manufacturing schedules, material requirements, and project scopes.
- Inspect manufactured furniture pieces prior to dispatch to ensure they meet quality, color, and structural standards.
- Recommend measures to improve manufacturing workflows, reduce waste, and boost productivity.
Safety & Compliance

- Maintain daily work logs, track project progress, and report updates to the Project Manager or Operations Manager.
- Monitor inventory levels for installation tools, hardware, and supplies; requisition materials as needed.
- Evaluate the performance of on-site workers and assist with training or onboarding new staff.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Diploma or Degree in Woodworking, Furniture Manufacturing, Interior Design, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
- Experience: 2–3 years of proven experience in furniture manufacturing, interior fit-outs, or on-site supervision.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of woodworking machinery, assembly, and finishing techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, CAD layouts, and architectural blueprints.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Physical stamina to work on-site, stand for long periods, and lift heavy furniture/equipment.
- Solid knowledge of workplace safety regulations.
Working Conditions
