Accountant

Role Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with statutory regulations. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced creative business environment.

KRA: Task / Activities

· Maintain daily accounting entries (Sales, Purchase, Expenses)

· Manage Accounts Payable & Receivable

· Prepare GST returns and ensure compliance

· Perform bank reconciliations and ledger scrutiny

· Maintain invoices, bills, and financial records

· Handle payroll processing (if applicable)

· Assist in financial reporting and MIS preparation

· Coordinate with CA for audits and filings

· Track expenses and support budgeting activities

KPI: Performance Metrics

· Accuracy of financial records (error-free entries)

· Timely GST filing and statutory compliance

· Monthly closing within deadlines

· Vendor & client payment cycle efficiency

· Audit readiness and documentation quality

   ·  MIS report submission timeliness

Required Skills

Preferred skills

· Strong knowledge of accounting principles

· Experience with Tally / Zoho Books / similar tools

· GST, TDS, and basic compliance knowledge

· MS Excel proficiency

· Attention to detail and accuracy

· Experience in creative/media/design agency

· Knowledge of financial reporting & MIS

· Basic payroll handling experience
