Job Title: Assistant Manager – Machine Shop
Location: Kanchipuram (Irungattukottai)
Experience: Minimum 7 years in machine shop operations (Assistant Manager Level)
Education: BE Mechanical / DME
Age: Below 45 years
Job Type: Full Time (Permanent)
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage daily operations of the machine shop, ensuring smooth workflow
- Expertly handle CNC, VMC, and Turn Mill programming, machine setup, and operation management
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and ISO documentation requirements
- Plan, assign, and manage manpower efficiently, ensuring optimal productivity
- Monitor and maintain machinery, tools, and production equipment
- Implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency and reduce downtime
- Coordinate with other departments for timely production and delivery schedules
- Maintain safety and compliance standards within the machine shop
Key Skills & Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of CNC, VMC, and Turn Mill machines, programming, and operations
- Hands-on experience in quality management and ISO documentation
- Proven ability to manage labour and assign tasks effectively
- Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills
CTC:
Rs. 50,000 – 60,000
