Dispatch Executive – Civil/Construction

Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Dispatch Executive to manage and coordinate the dispatching of construction materials, equipment, and labor to various project sites. The ideal candidate will have experience in the civil/construction field and be capable of working in a fast-paced environment to ensure timely and efficient site operations.

Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate the dispatch and delivery of construction materials, tools, and equipment to project sites.
• Maintain daily logs and records of dispatches and delivery schedules.
• Communicate with site engineers, project managers, and suppliers to align delivery timelines.
• Ensure all dispatches comply with company policies and safety standards.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate with the procurement team for material availability.
• Optimize transport and routing to ensure timely delivery and cost efficiency.
• Resolve on-site delivery issues and handle urgent dispatch requirements.
• Prepare and maintain dispatch documentation including gate passes, delivery notes, and material movement logs.
• Liaise with transport vendors and manage third-party logistics if required.
• Support project teams in achieving project deadlines by ensuring timely availability of materials.

Requirements
• 2-4 years of experience in dispatch or logistics role within the construction/civil industry.
• Good knowledge of construction materials and equipment.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and dispatch/logistics software.
• Ability to handle pressure and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Knowledge of local transport regulations and safety standards is a plus.

Preferred Skills
• Experience in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) related to inventory and dispatch.
• Problem-solving ability and quick decision-making skills.
• Familiarity with construction site processes and workflow.
