2ND CLASS BOILER OPERATOR FOR POWER PLANT - RAIPUR , CHHATTISGARH
Job Description:
- Operational Monitoring: Monitor steam boilers, turbines, and auxiliaries via DCS or manual gauges, checking fuel systems (coal, oil, gas, biomass) and maintaining optimal boiler pressure, temperature, and water levels.
- Safety and Inspection: Perform routine safety checks on safety valves, fans, and pumps; respond to alarms, and perform startup/shutdown procedures.
- Maintenance & Efficiency: Maintain boiler bed conditions, clean ash, remove clinker, and ensure proper function of Bag Filters and ESP systems.
- Documentation: Record log readings, fuel consumption, and maintenance data. [1, 2, 3, 4]
- Certification: Valid 2nd Class Boiler Operator Certification/License is mandatory.
- Experience: Usually 2 to 7 years of experience in thermal power plants (e.g., AFBC, CFBC, or WHRB boilers).
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of Indian Boiler Regulations (IBR) and high-pressure steam systems.
