SECURITY SUPERVISOR FOR STEEL MANUFACTURING - RAIPUR , CHHATTISGARH
Job Description:
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and schedule security personnel, ensuring professional appearance and performance on duty.
- Operational Control: Oversee 24/7 security operations, including patrol, access control for visitors, staff, and materials at entry/exit points.
- Incident & Emergency Management: Lead response efforts for incidents, fire, or safety violations.
- Surveillance: Monitor CCTV systems and perimeter security to prevent theft and unauthorized access.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety protocols and conduct regular audits.
- Reporting: Maintain detailed records of incidents, visitor logs, and gate passes. [1, 2, 3, 4]
- Experience: Previous experience (often 2-3 years, sometimes up to 5) in industrial/plant security.
- Physical Fitness: Capability to walk the premises regularly.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with CCTV, alarm systems, and basic computer skills.
- Attributes: High level of honesty, alertness, and integrity. [1, 2, 3, 4]
- Shift Work: The role involves rotating shifts, including nights, to maintain 24/7 security.
- Environment: Industrial setting (steel plant), which may involve working in high-pressure situations
