Position:- Customs Documentation Executive
Location:- Bhandup West Mumbai
We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Customs Documentation Executive to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of export-import documentation, maintaining strict compliance with customs regulations, and navigating the ICEGATE portal efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Import Export Documentation: Manage and oversee all customs-related paperwork required for import/export shipments.
- Shipping Bills: Prepare, verify, and file shipping bills accurately to avoid delays or penalties.
- Checklist Management: Create and review pre-filing checklists to ensure all data matches invoice and packing list details.
- Digital Filing (E-Sanchit): Upload and manage supporting documents via the E-Sanchit platform as per customs requirements.
- ICEGATE Operations: File Bills of Entry (B/E) and other statutory documents directly through the ICEGATE portal.
- IGM Tracking: Monitor and track Import General Manifest (IGM) status to coordinate smooth cargo clearance.
- Record Keeping: Organize and maintain systematic document filing for internal audits and future reference.
Preferred candidate profile
- 2 years of experience in Checklist Preparation and Documentation within freight forwarding and customs clearance.
- Strong knowledge of international shipping terms (Incoterms), documentation, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and coordination abilities.
