Job Description:
Planning and executing branding for new stores involves creating a cohesive, immersive experience that aligns with the overall brand identity while tailoring to the specific local market. Must be data-driven merchandising, hyperlocal customization, and integrating digital technology to create a seamless, engaging customer journey.

Phase 1: Planning & Strategy (Before Opening)
  1. Define Brand Identity & Audience: Establish the core mission, values, personality, and target audience profiles (personas) to ensure consistent messaging.
  2. Market Research & Insights: Analyze local customer preferences, behavior, and competitors to customize the store concept, rather than simply duplicating another location's format.
  3. Develop Visual Identity Guidelines: Create comprehensive guidelines for logos, color palettes, typography, and signage to ensure consistency.
  4. Plan the Customer Journey: Map out the store layout, focusing on the entrance, flow, and high-impact areas, aiming to reduce clutter and increase dwell time.
  5. Develop Sensory Branding: Plan, lighting, scent, and sound to create an emotional connection and reinforce the brand personality.
Phase 2: Execution & Implementation (Store Setup)
  1. Uniformity Across Locations: Ensure visual identity (materials, fixtures) is consistent with other locations, especially for flagship brands.
  2. Strategic Merchandising: Place "hero products" at eye level and group similar items to encourage cross-sales.
  3. Technology Integration: Implement digital screens, interactive kiosks, or augmented reality (AR) to enhance engagement and educate customers.
  4. Signage & Wayfinding: Install clear, on-brand signage that guides customers and differentiates product zones.
  5. Staff Training: Train staff to act as brand ambassadors who embody the brand’s voice and values.
Phase 3: Post-Opening Optimization
  1. Analyze Data & Feedback: Use analytical tools to track foot traffic, dwell time, and purchasing behavior to make data-driven layout adjustments.
  2. Measure ROI: Evaluate conversion rates by display type to identify the most effective in-store branding strategies.
  3. Ensure Long-Term Maintenance: Continually refine and maintain the store's appearance to ensure the brand experience remains high-quality and relevant over time.
